Don't know the GEC model, but there was a DAC90(A) behind it in the photo.

It looks like an upside down BC 5639 - speaker grille and tuning scale transposed.

Thanks Chris. The wife and myself are going to check this place out. I'm sure the radio will have been snapped up by now but there are others there and looks an interesting place to visit. Not too far from my place either.
