Default Hacker Gondolier GP42 tone arm set-up

Hello,

I just received a Hacker Gondolier GP42 where the tone arm was disconnected in transit. I had a go at reconnecting it but something was amiss. I've bought it as a gift so would like to at least get it going, and then they can give it a full service.

Any help is much appreciated and apologies for my ignorance!

Catherine

Looks straightforward but I may be missing a lot.
The spring on the arm will fit on the small flat hook on the rear right of the support that connects to the knurled black knob.
The two pointed screw bearings should hold the arm in place.
Unless any parts have been damaged while coming apart.

You may have re-fixed the mechanics of the SP25's arm but have you set the tracking weight correctly?
