I have ordered a kit from Russia, cost £12-00 so no big deal if it proves to be no good.
My 80 foot antenna works well with good strong signals, but also a lot of noise, so I am hoping that the active mini whip might be better as far as the noise problem goes.

Since my last post I have built this active antenna kit and have installed it on a pole about 15 metres high.
It seems to work about the same as my 80 foot wire antenna .
I think I will build a antenna tuner next for my long wire as I have already built a 9:1 UnUn
for use on the 80 foot wire.
