Default Marconi 262 station card

Hi, I have just purchased a Marconi 262 ac (& struggled home on the bus). It is a fine set that just oozes quality & in good condition, the more I examine it the more I like it. I wondered what the little bit of celluloid sticking out underneath was & on tilting the set I found it is the tab of a Lucerne Plan station card which slides out on a couple of wire runners. I have never seen one of these on an EMI radio before nor the runners, was this a feature unique to this model.
