Question Marciatta Moser-any knowledge of this Italian Radio?

A non-member friend has asked about the above radio, which he found on Italian eBay, but didn't buy as he couldn't find any info. about it. Seemingly nothing on RM or anywhere else. I don't see any way to copy the pictures from his email in order to be able to post them on the forum, but any info. will be welcome.

Not one I've heard of, and there's not a thing from Google on Marciatta Moser. Are you sure of the spelling? then again, maybe the eBay listing won't have featured the manufacturer / brand.

Isn't it possible, either to save the pictures from the email if it's on your hard drive or to right click and download them if it's webmail, then to upload to here in the usual way?

The email is on Webmail, Paul. I'll try as you suggest. I've downloaded the email already, but want to be able to separate the pictures from the text to post them on here.

Chiasso... so actually it's a Swiss radio, though only just.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chiasso

Certainly seems highly obscure. And about the only thing it reminds me of, at least in the first photo, is the business end of a 1950ish Hoover Senior, which I realise is no help at all!

Thanks, Paul. I hadn't noticed the word 'Chiasso' on the maker's plate. I'll pass on the info to my friend on his boat in France.

I wonder what used to be attached to the back of the casing. A desk lamp would be my first guess, assuming there's a 'speaker venting through the base.

Very strange. It's listet in RM.org with two pictures - same one's shown here.

Chiasso is the southest part of Switzerland and italian speaking. But "Radiofabrik" is german, not italian.....

Kind regards, Walter
