PHILIPS Cassette Recorder EL3302 (cracking the date code)
Just wondering if we have any Bletchley Park Code Breakers out there? Be nice to date but so far drawn a blank
Also wondering if the battery/record level indicator with the larger display colour panel gives a clue?

Second week of 1969
WR01 = 1st production change (in other words first change from original design...maybe just a single component change).

Agreed.
@Ekcoman: By any chance, would you share the serial number with us? I'm slowly building up a data collection to draw conclusions on production numbers etc. |

Yes 37th week of 1969. Still WR01 so no other changes.

Thanks "Sideband" that's what I was thinking. Guess it's knowing the year of the changes as 01. 02. and so on.

Now as a follow up, the original microphone changed shape from it's original round and I think it changed yet again. Did these changes happen in a particular year?
