I wonder if it's in the clear on sky, or do you need a valid sky card?

Nothing of Freesat needs a Card on sky.
In Ireland you may have to add Freesat channels via "Other Channels". Or simply remove the card

Thanks Steve

I have just tuned into channel 369. Good for the "pop generation. Have not seen any widescreen. This certainly vintage TV. Would look good in 405. Have not yet found it in the programme guide.

Yes, it is in the skyguide under music.

Playlist seems to be rather restricted, many repeats.

No Roy Orbison or Buddy Holly yet, I live in hope.

Regards

Yes it's in the Sky EPG and viewable without a viewing card. Seems to be a lot of 60s to 80s music, and a LOT of repeats. It doesn't seem to have the signal to flag the TV to go into 4:3 mode so everything is stretched unless the telly is switched manually (though BBC4 and others don't seem to have that either).

They do if you go via skart rather than HDMI (if the HDMI output is set to 1080).

I thought it was about old tellies. Oops!
