Default Kenwood UD 351M help needed

Uurgh please help if you can.
I have been lucky enough to acquire a Kenwood UD 351M. Exactly the one I owned from new as a teenager.
It is in excellent condition almost everything works perfectly. Almost.....
The cassette seems to have no power. It is a single unit combined with the CD player which has full power and is working perfectly. The cassette mechanism does not seem to engage at all and there is no movement of the working parts.
Would anybody have any clue at all where the fault could lie and how it could be repaired. Better yet could you possibly signpost me to somebody that may be able to help.
I'm desperate to get it working as all the music I want to listen to is on tape.
