Default Quad 34 Power-on Input

I have seen a reference online to it being possible to change the default power-on input of a Quad 34 (normally Radio) by resoldering a capacitor. Does anyone have any more details of this mod? Thanks.

Hi WT, according to the 34 service manual, C44 in parallel with the radio key causes radio to be selected at switch on. Removing C44 and putting it across whichever switch you want first should do the trick. I haven't looked at my 34 to see how easy this is to do. If you need the 34 service manual, Hifiengine has it, great site! Peter
