November 2010 Lowton 21 Nov?
The BVWS list of events gives 21 November as the date for the Lowton Swapmeet, but states "To Be Confirmed". Does anyone know whether this date has been firmed up yet please, as I need to book accomodation if it's definitely on.
TIA, David |

Re: November 2010 Lowton 21 Nov?
Hello David,
The 21st November has definately been confirmed now. The meeting will now be known as "Golborne, BVWS North of England Swapmeet" The venue has been changed to: Golborne Parkside Sports & Community Club. Rivington Avenue, Golborne, Warrington. WA3 3HG This is only about a 1.5 miles away from the old hall. The council have decided to demolish the old venue in favour of it being used for something else! The stall application forms will be in the next Bulletin which has already been printed and is on its way to the Museum for posting out. Look forward to seeing everyone there as usual. Mike...

Re: November 2010 Lowton 21 Nov?
Thanks for the prompt update Mike, and details of the new venue, with postcode for sat-nav! Nice little event - useful to be able put faces to names, hook up with BVWS friends, stock up with BVWS capacitors etc.
Looking forward to the imminent Bulletin, which seems to get better with each issue. David |

Re: November 2010 Lowton 21 Nov?
Paul,
there is currently no auction at this event as it is still in it's infancy, There are plenty of tables though. There is the opportunity to join the BVWS as they have a table, and, the Chairman has yet to miss an event in the North West. There is to be a 405 line TV display again (hope the Marconi comes)! cheers Mark |
