Default Telefunken Compact 2080 - Advice needed

Dear all,

A few weeks ago I bought a Telefunken stereo Compact 2080 (unfortunately without original loudspeakers) and it needs to be repaired.
Brief story, when I turned it on I was able to listen FM for half a minute in only one channel. The sound disappeared and that's it ... no smoke, no noise in all bands, lamps/bulbs on..., the typical almost undetectable hum from transformer (suggesting it is working properly)....

I've been looking for a schematic for a while ... but no success
The only diagram I was able to access is from https://berlin.museum-digital.de/sin...?imagenr=17146 , but unfortunately without enough resolution to see voltages values and component ratings.

So, I was wondering if anyone can advise me where to start, since without a schematic it will be very difficult to detect where the problem is...

At sight, the only thing I noticed was R136, R137, R236, R237 with a burned aspect.
As I believe the source problem was not in the resistors themselves, but in other component, I would like to have your advise before start a replacement at sight process.
Are transistors prone to fail?

Thanks in advance for any kind of help anyone is open to provide.

Best Regards from Portugal.
Diniz from Portugal.

Hi Diniz,

you can get a better schematic here:

https://www.radiomuseum.org/r/telefu...2080r2080.html

It is a little complicated, but you will do it.

Greetings
Werner
