Default JVC HR-10E No Deck Actions

Found this on Sunday hiding in a corner , it has a tuner /power supply attached which powers up and channels change but the does nothing and wont eject the tape carriage to load a tape.

Not come across this model before and wonder on ideas?

Thank you

Hi

Probably you mean HR-S10E

The VCR unit have a lcd display for the tape counter . When you turn on the unit the counter appeared on display or not?

Yes , thanks I could be wrong on model and no lcd counter display at all. Not yet checked whether there is 12 volts coming from tuner that should feed the deck.

Hi

Check the voltage first. The other fault could be the loading belt under the main PCB.
