Very unusual Pifco heater
Picked up this outrageously good looking fan heater for £10 yesterday. In the antique shop it looked like an electric wok until the owner plugged it in to show me. Made for Pifco in Holland in I imagine the late '50s. It has a four way switch rather like a Santon switch to select off, cool fan, or two heat settings when the lamp comes on. It has those atomic ball shaped feet and handles quite unlike anything I have seen before.

Lovely!
Must admit, looking at it I'd be half expecting it to levitate itself and hover when switched to full-power! |

It really should go "Weeble" or something like.
Has it asked to see your leader yet?

Very nice, not seen one of these before. It almost looks as if the top is made of Bakelite, but I suspect its not.

Re: Very unusual Pifco heater
Made in Holland makes me curious. I would like to see some details if and when this is convenient. Also details from the inside, preferrably also showing any (date) codes or other clues as to which factory may have made it.
