Dynamco 7100 Oscilloscope Manual!
Hi!
Member Roger M0TDM seems to own what is probably the only set of original Factory Manuals for the 7100/1Y2/1X2 Dynamco Oscilloscope left in exsistence, and I suspect the chance of getting any more original factory bookwork is probably between zilch and 0.000001! With this in mind, the recent lucky purchase of one of these for the princely sum of £5 means I can use it, along with the very faint and difficult to read scans, as a baseline for writing/drawing out a new copy of the manual, that will feature colour component–location pictures, together with completely new circuit diagrams. (The original photos of the 7100 and 1Y2 have become unreadable black splodges totally devoid of visible detail from whoever photocopied/scanned it!) I have already started work on the new circuit–diagrams using my sPlan software, and the project is expected to be completed by Christmas! The manual will state clearly that it a re-written and re–drawn work and NOT in any way original and prepared from almost unreadable diagrams and the actual instrument itself – I think it's very doubtful anyone from the original 1960s Dynamco is going to chase me for it! Re: Dynamco 7100 Oscilloscope Manual!
Chris,
Dynamco 7100 oscilloscope. I am sorry to disappoint you, but I have a set of original manuals, though it may prevent you engaging in a lot of work before Christmas. 7100 display unit 65Mhz for 30Mhz Y plug ins 1968 7130 100Mhz for 50Mhz PI. 1970 single timebase 1X1 1968 dual trace Y 1Y2 30Mhz 1970 Various other variants. But not the dual timebase. Perhaps I should ask Roger M0TDN for a copy of his 1X2 Timebase with trigger delay. Would you like just the pictures and board layouts. I also have information upon the 7200 series and the 7500 model. wme_bill |

Evening Bill!
I'd be happy to have a go at this project anyway, but please let me know by PM if you'd like payment for a copy of the board schematics, layout diagrams & pics! Chris WIlliams
