Default Hacker RP18 Sovereign Mk1 push button bank.

Hi.
Just acquired an RP18.
The four button wavechange assembly does not latch.
(None of the buttons stay depressed.)
The service manual gives no data on the assembly.
I haven't started stripping it yet and wondered if anyone had
come across the problem and might advise the likely cause?
Broken spring, for example.
Many thanks in advance.

Hi
More likely to be solidified grease on the latching/slider assembly.
Remove it from the case and try a spot of IPA/white spirit an the latching/slider bar and a little bit of hairdryer heat. Don't overdo it!
