BBC Master 128
Just a question I want to ask,
Is the Terminal Rom on the Master 128 for Econet or can it be used for RS432 for Terminal communication? Paul

Re: BBC Master 128
Yes, it can be used with the serial port. It's not that good though for most modern things. However there is a program TequillaComm (http://www.nvg.ntnu.no/bbc/util/) that does quite good emulation of ansi terminals and such.
I still have a M128 in my workshop that is connected to my Linux box by a long rs423 cable that I use to connect to the internet occasionally Some details of the cable and setting it up here: http://www.brahms.demon.co.uk/softwa...rial-cable.txt D |

Re: BBC Master 128
I recall the 'comunicator' ROM from computer concepts as being more usable. Don't recall ever trying on a master. Another alternative, IIRC, is the open source 'kermit' which has a terminal mode as well as transfer modes.
