Miniature Megger???
I found this during a clear out. No markings of any kind. Can someone tell me what it is?

Re: Miniature Megger???
Might it be something as simple as a retractable aerial for a MW/LW/SW radio set?

Re: Miniature Megger???
I have a Sony ICF7600 which came with an extendable aerial which looks really very similar.

Re: Miniature Megger???
If it were actually made by Megger, probably a wander lead for earth testing
https://uk.megger.com/extension-test...tl30-and-xtl50 The absence of through connector on the reel end suggests an aerial lead. I can't think of any other purpose for a coil of wire with a connector only on one end. |

Re: Miniature Megger???
I'g guess that the Sony version is about 15ft long.
