Default Transistor Radio PCB

Hi folks,
Can anyone identify the radio this PCB came from. It has three AF117s still on the board, the other four transistors have been removed. The coil cans all have label identifying them: BS 67103, CS67104, CS67104 and CS 67106.
Thanks in advance!
David

Hi

Not sure of the model but it has a distinct BRC look. I'll check through some service manuals. To narrow it down, I'd say it would be within the years 1964 to 1969 approx. Are there any date codes on the electrolytic capacitors?

Regards,
Symon

The capacitors are mainly Hunts with a white plastic sleeve. There are 2 100uF 6vdc with PWK,104 and WA1 on them. There are also 2 TCC ELKOMOLD electrolytics, one has a code TCB/UD visible. Two of the AF117s have Mullard OS4 on them if that helps?

Just bumping this one. I've looked through loads of service sheets but I haven't found out which radio its from. Daft question maybe but is BRC Bush Radio Company or something else?

Close but no cigar, British Radio Corp. (Edit- Thorn/Ferguson/Marconiphone/HMV etc) and I agree it has that look about it

Sadly not sure on the PCB itself though, likely from a compact or pocket type radio given the cutout in the board though.

That's it! Thanks Bill and its on the BVWS dvd as well! I suppose I might have found it eventually but it would have taken me ages! I haven't got the Radio and TV servicing book for 1962/3.

Dates from 1962, I think they were still RBM back then.

That's the acronym I was trying to think of but it eluded me. Probably were, yes. Was there any crossover between Rank/Bush and BRC then? Because the look of their circuit boards is rather similar around that era.
