This could probably be added to this thread .

I found this sony videotape not long ago. It is the only one I've ever seen which makes special mention of anti fungal treatment! Would be interesting to find out more of what they used, and how it works. I'm sure there are a few of us on here who wished these tapes had been more widely available....

We had a load of those at work a while back, they were supplied with the 24 hour video recorder for the security cameras. I suspect the idea was that you could safely store them for some time should they be needed as evidence.

These days it just writes to DVD-R, which we just stick in a safe.
