Anyone heard of a Milacana radio?
Hi All, if you do a gumtree search for 'vintage radio' and enter the area 'Earl Shilton', there's a Milacana radio for a fiver.abd and 2 pics. Anyone ever heard of this make?

Yes, looks very like this one:
https://www.radiomuseum.org/r/blaupu...uehrung_j.html Interesting that the tuning dial actually says "Blue Spot" at the top, unusual (at least to me) to find the anglicised version of the manufacturer used on a relatively late set. Must be a snip at the price. Paul |

Ah yes! just logged onto the pc to get a clearer look at the pics...and it does say 'Milano' on the fret....so it's the model name, not make. Clever of you to KNOW it was by Blaupunkt! if it's still around this weekend I might just......

It was the Blaupunkt logo on the tuning scale.

Re: Anyone heard of a Milacana radio?
I've heard back from the seller, he says the back cover has 2225 on it, so that confirms the model number in the link provided by PAUL_RK, and that it has all its valves. I won't be able to see it till next Friday, but 1st come 1st served... anyone?
