Default Inoue Icom IC-700R/T tranceiver

I have just been given a IC700R IC700T and powersupply. The original owner said it has not been powered up for 20-30 years.
I have the original manuals and ones I found on here.
Any tips that I should know of before I start the restoration?
I plan to do a visual check inside before applying any AC power to it.

Thanks in advance
