Hi, I suggest you try "Whiskas" a group member, I recently sold him many valves including magic eyes!

Hi, do you really need an eye or would a suitable base do?

Thanks for reply, i need the entire valve in good but non working condition. I may be able to use one with broken glass. I at least need the side contact base and internal structure, thanks.

I may have a TV4a (side contact magic eye) - would that do?

TV4a would do, but the EM1 & EM4 appear to be longer, this will better fit the mounting in the set ( Philips 660a ) and has more space inside to do the mods. So iíll Wait a bit longer and see, but if needs be i will be able to use it as it is the correct base and seems to have the same glass width. Thanks

Hi,I have 2 very dim EM1 eyes you can have. One has a loose base but the other one is secure. They are a bit shorted than the EM4.If you still need them then let me have your address by PM and I will pop them in the post.
John.

Thanks everyone!, i was going to use TV4,, but now thereís Hoveradioís EM1, i think itíll be best as thatís the original. I would actually prefer the one with the loose base. Iíll post a picture if its a success in the thread; ď EM34 LED A new approach ď in the Components & Circuits thread. PM sent to Hoveradio.
