Default Does anyone else know anything about this Ediswan Speakerphone

Among radios I'm a very keen Bakelite collector, I've had these items some years but know nothing about them, I'm guessing it some sort of intercom system.
The large unit is mains operated with valves in it, there is absolutely nothing on the internet about it.

Thanks for that Tom, I am surprised there is virtually nothing about this attractive item on the net, not even pictures, maybe it's very rare.
Some years ago I did spot the smaller speaker on a desk in a old Black and white film.
