Default Sony HP211a

Hi everyone
I am in need of some expert knowledge.
I have been given a project of repairing a Sony HP211a. The record player arm is not fastened and the cartridge is missing. The arm needs reassembling and there is a wire which seems to detached but I am unable to find the other end of the wire. I have some photos.
Is there a repair manual available to download. Also where can I get parts for this model
Thanks

You can get the Sony Manual from "Electro Tanya". The black wire in your photo may well be used for earthing/grounding. This is a 1970's turntable and only source of parts might have to be another unit you can cannibalise.

What parts do you think you may need?

Hi Edward
The arm has no cartridge or stylus, no speakers so I don’t even know if it will work. I can find some speakers to connect up. I don’t want to spend a fortune on stylus etc if it’s a no go in the first place. I have powered it up and the turntable rotates. I’ve not checked the anything more yet.
I will go online and find the manual and take it from there.
Thank you for the reply

I would suggest before you spend too much time and money on this, that you hook up a pair of 8 ohm speakers and check out both channels of the amplfiier with signals from the FM/AM tuner.
