Arrow Loewe Opta Radiogram

Pride of place in the 'Debra' charity shop in Horley, Surrey, a rather lovely Loewe Opta 'Rheingold' radiogram - model 5861W. Stereo, I think. Looked in good nick cosmetically, and the back was present through which I could see valves. The sign said 'not in working order', though.

Radiomuseum has an entry for this model here and there's a link here and pictures here. The photos in that last link look like it - though I don't remember the cream surround around the radio and I didn't check the condition of the turntable.

Rather optimistically priced at £125 (knocked down from £250, I think! ). So if anyone's up for some major bargaining...

(For a split second, I did actually consider purchasing it (not for £125) and trying to cart it back up North in the back of my Ford Fiesta. I quelled the urge.)
