Default A useful source of BBC information

Searching for some information this evening, I came across this site;

https://www.bbceng.info/Information/eng_inf_top.htm

A lot of useful information here.

Malwarebytes is blocking this site as a potential threat for me. Anyone else the same?
MWB seems to be blocking a lot recently.

Yer there is some useful/interesting stuff in there.

Working fine for me; I looked at the page source and its written in 100% ye olde html - no javascript, media, or external links etc, so pretty sure malwarebytes is wrong on this one.

TTFN,
Jon

Martin Ellen (ex-Designs Department / Head of Transmission Projects) has built up this excellent site over several years. A vote of grateful thanks must go to Nick Cutmore (also ex-Designs Department) who has spent hundreds - if not thousands - of hours scanning works of reference such as Technical Instructions, Apparatus in Code Order, Designs Department documents (Technical Memoranda, Manufacturing Information) and much more.

There's no doubt in my mind that Martin's site is a veritable cornucopia of excellence and a worthy tribute to all those whose efforts put the British Broadcasting Corporation at the pinnacle of broadcast technology for so many decades.

(murmurs of 'hear, hear' from all ex-Beeb members at this point)

Best wishes
Guy

It's a great site. I've had it in my favourites for years and I visit regularly as there are updates quite often.

Slightly OT, but at one time the BBC had on its website the last , and previous times, audio tracks were played, that seems to have disappeared, anyone know of a source of similar, or correct, information (basically it all went wrong when they went over to the 'Sounds' for the radio etc listen)again).
