Default Repairs needed for a Radford SPA 50 power amp

My own stupid fault! For some incomprehensible reason I connected a sig gen to the input to look for a peak in the speakers - smoke resulted. I found a seriously toasted resistor and replaced - all was well for a couple of weeks - now it is making a frightful noise when switched on. Could someone help please?
