Drumgrange DX502 airband transceiver
Hello,
I've been helping a friend who's bought a Drumgrange DX502 airband transceiver. It's a 19" rack mount unit and he was expecting it to work as a stand-alone receiver. It happily accepts a keyed-in frequency, but the 'tuned' indicator won't come on. Whether this is down to setup (links/jumpers) or a fault, I'm not sure yet. He thinks it may be because it's set for a landline connection. Has anyone here had any experience with this radio? There is very little info on the web for it and we've not had any luck with the manufacturer. Thanks, Gary |

According to a random eBay listing it needs an access code of some description.

Yes, it's a seven digit one There is a YouTube video of one working 'out of the box', so to speak, so there may be a fault somewhere. Time for a good look around inside!

Being an airband transceiver, don't be tempted to see if you can transmit with it!
