Default Bruel & Kjaer 2006 - info needed

can anyone help? I need the service manual to set up the gain of the thing, because either my MI 995 signal generator is wrong, or the 2006 is wrong, or perhaps both!

Just the 2006 circuit would help a lot, and/or Information on the 2007 which is similar would be great.

Contact B&K, they're really helpful though may not have much like a service manual?

Andy.

There isn't a service manual per se, it's the "Service Instructions" and is a supplement to the user manual.

Note that the input is 75 ohms, and the meter rectifier is peak reading.

If you have the probe unit, that is a simple cathode follower using an EC1000 wire-ended triode to provide a high impedance input, and there was a 60db capacitive attenuator that could be plugged into the front of the probe.

The 2006 is a single conversion receiver (11.3 MHz IF), and the 2007 is double-conversion with more complex circuitry.

If you can't find anything elsewhere, I should be able to scan my 2006 Service Instructions and circuit diagram.

Instruction manuals are online here:
