Default Bush TR130 part needed

l've just bought a very clean original Bush TR130.

It's arrived with the ferrite aerial broken, the seller had given a partial refund so l've got it for £10

Is it possible to get a ferrite today to replace the broken one. Or will it work if l glue it together?

Otherwise l guess my only option is to buy a scruffy TR130 for parts. Unless someone on here can sell me a ferrite rod, or even a complete TR130, doesn't need to be in working order.

Thanks.

Hi if the parts fit together gluing would work fine, 2 part epoxy works well Mick

You can glue the rod back together with Superglue or two part epoxy glue like Araldite. You may need to adjust the coils on the rod once the glue is completely set.

I use superglue, then wrap a few turns of a strip of paper over the join. pasting it with more superglue so it sets rock hard. Then paint with black felt pen to disguise it.
