I went to that all those years ago with my Dad, I would have been 10! They were held at the then "Free Trade Hall" in Manchester, now sadly replaced by yuppie flats or something similar!

Terry, thanks for providing the YouTube link, and I hope all that have viewed the programme on Television Heaven UK (my channel) found it as enthralling as I did.
If anyone fancies a ‘lost’ gameshow as a different type of entertainment, Sale of the Century from Boxing Day 1978 is also available. Hopefully others are as glad as me that the perseverance to get a working Philips N1502 and N1702 paid off. Philip |

I was there! Radio Society trip from Magnus Grammar School, Newark-on-Trent.But I can't remember where it was at!
