Default Becker Mexico Radio Cassette Vollstereo 485

Hello,

It's been a while since I posted but I'm working on a Becker Mexico Vollstereo 485 and I'm struggling. I can't find a circuit diagram for this particular model, which I believe was from the mid '70's. I have a diagram for a 375 but the layout is different. Does anyone have a service manual for this model?

The issue I'm dealing with is to do with the "Wunderbar" button, which trips the radio and when I'm not using it getting radio volume. I can tune to a channel and get a very low level of volume. The amp works but I believe the tape is switched to the amp and not the radio....problem is I can't for the life of me see the switch over to the radio.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers,

Magical.

Hello all,

I've sorted the amp issue. Just need to get the "Wunderbar" going. Any schematic would be helpful.

Thx again.

Is the Wanderbar an autotune function.

Hello,

Yes the Wunderbar is an auto tune feature. Press it and the needle moves from left to right and stops on the next channel. When the dial gets to the right hand end it flips back over to the left hand side and starts again.

Becker are still in business. You could ask them about service dara.

Thx for the suggestion David but managed to sort it via a lead FIXITNOW gave me. A similar unit that helped me identify the components better and sort out the adjustment.

Thx FIXITNOW.
