Old TV test cards.
Hi I’ve seen many old TV's for sale on eBay with pictures of test cards on them. Is there a box that I can buy with them on or are they on DVD?

Re: Old tv test cards
Have a look at the sticky here at the top of this section.
This is for 625 only of course, for 405 you'll need a standards converter such as an Aurora which comes with test card C stored in memory as standard. John. Last edited by jayceebee; 29th Jul 2018 at 8:33 pm. Reason: typo |

Re: Old tv test cards
I guess this still works.
If you have a Freeview box you get a test card from Freeview. Channel 250 (BBC's red button), then wait for full image, press yellow button, change channel down one, then back to 250, wait for full image to appear, press green button which gives you access to options: press green for Test card. This chap on youtube shows you how. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DikQ5ZxvBtA John |
