Question Refitting the Dial to a DAC90A

I've recently started to reassemble the cabinet of a DAC90A on which I'm working, and, having dismantled it for cleaning some months ago, I repositioned the dial in the aperture, when I noticed holes in the cabinet for self-tapping screws either side of the rear end of the scale. I don't recall removing any brackets, and cannot find a picture clearly showing whether or not clamps or brackets are/were used. (Should have taken pictures I know!)
Can anyone confirm if clamps were fitted, please?

Yes, there are metal brackets that are attached with the screws that fit those holes. These hold the glass in place. Have you replaced the 2 rubber strips that fit to the top and bottom of the glass?

Thanks, Rob-yes I obtained the last two new strips an eBay seller had in stock, but don't have any brackets among the screws, etc., I removed when dismantling the set. It occurred to me that two washers of suitable diameter-one each end might suffice. I have the speaker mounting brackets, which I left inside the cabinet. Possibly I could make a couple of brackets from Aluminium or tinplate if these would be better than washers.
