Default Looking for an EKCO TCG316 or 337 television and gram

Good afternoon,
A long shot, though at the BVWS Biggleswade event, there was an Ekco TCG316 console television with a gramophone under the lid. I was going to bid though didnít have the space in the car to get it home. It went for £5 I think!! After looking at a few threads on the restoration of one, I would like to acquire one as a restoration project. I donít mind travelling some distance. A long shot though, I donít know if anyone has one that is in the way!!

Many thanks,
Christopher Capener

There is one on eBay right now, very nice cosmetic condition.

I have one awaiting resto that I acquired to compensate for the one my grandma had and which then got trashed by me when it was put out to pasture, before I was into fixing up these things. So whilst I don't want to part with it, if you ever do get one as a project maybe we could do them in parallel !

Out of interest what is the difference between a 316 and a 337 ? was one chassis PCB and the other hand wired metal chassis by any chance?
