Default Crowncorder CTR 300

I purchased a little crowncorder for my son it was not working but I have got it going niceley on batteries. The mains adsptor is missing can any one tell me what amp rating adapter would i need i belive the voltage is 6volt. As thats the correct battery power. If any one can help many thanks

Which Crowncorder have you got?

They made several.

Although I can't imagine you would need much more than a 1 Amp Supply.

If you are able to, why not insert an Ammeter in line with the Batteries, and
see what current the Device draws on Batteries.

This would give a pretty good idea as to what Adaptor Specification you need.

You only need a dc adaptor to run it from a car battery. The mains supply is built in,
you just need a figure-8 mains lead. That's whats on my. CTR300

Are you sure it's a CTR 300 and not a CTR 3000 ?
