Re: Anyone used self storage containers for radios?
This does bring us all face to face with some of the realities of our hobby. If they've been in a loft for many years, you could say logically, why own them at all - I say that with a loft with many radios in it!!
I'm in the process of renovating our house and reorganising it, and I'm finding some of my gear just doesn't have a place or a use and inevitably will have to go. It's a sad realisation, so you have my sympathies. Best Regards Adam |

Re: Anyone used self storage containers for radios?
I have only known one person use a shipping container and a lot of the stuff rotted.

Re: Anyone used self storage containers for radios?
I thought that might be the case. That rules that idea out.I have a good dry garage next to the house which i keep my 1957 Standard 10 in for the winter. I could bubble wrap the radios and stack them in there on pallets and use a dehumidifier.Might be easier finding a secure lock up garage for the car.
