Default A5000 monitor problem

Have just reconnected my A500 setup after several years. The monitor just shows an almost blank screen - just a cursor top left and diagonal lines crossing the screen. Could it be the CMOS battery? Any other suggestions?

Thanks.

Have you tried holding down R when you turn it on?
