Dial glass reproduction
I think that the technology in the link below is worth keeping an eye on for Dial glass reproduction. It prints directly on the back of the acrylic sheet in a similar way to the back painted glass dials. However this particular company was unable to help as they have a semi automated process line that mounts the acrylic glass on a backing plate so that it is not see through. They were very quick to reply to Emails but in the end I could not get just a printed acrylic sheet or any guarantee of exact scaling.
However it looks promising and worth exploring with another company possessing similar printer technology or has anyone got a printer that prints in this way? The website is https://uk.whitewall.com/photo-lab/a...-acrylic-glass Pete |

Re: Dial glass reproduction
It seems to be worth a punt at less then six quid, if you add a rule on the image I am sure the person doing the job will know what to do, unlike the sales staff.

Re: Dial glass reproduction
The thing with this would be is it printing in white or leaving gaps and the applied backing is white ? If its printing in white obviously its ideal for tuning scales.
