Default Racal spare parts list of numbers wanted

I have a box full of Racal spare, all nos and with numbers.
Is there anywhere a numbers list what makes possible to identify them?
I can`t give that to friends without knowing what it is

Martin,

I think that's a tricky one - but also a job worth doing because spares are now largely unobtainable and going to help out a few people if you can work this out. Its probably a matter of going through a pile of Racal manuals one by one, and searching for the part numbers in the parts lists. Not an easy job unless you have OCR'd electronic copies!

This is probably the sort of question that should be posed to "Keith" who runs this site: https://www.recelectronics.co.uk/ - I don't know him, or whether he is on this forum. There's no obvious contact details on the site that I can find - but he is linked to the Collingwood museum - so you might try him via their site: http://www.rnmuseumradarandcommunications2006.org.uk/ and they have a contacts page at: http://www.rnmuseumradarandcommunica...directions.htm

I would make the general comment that standard parts - resistors, capacitors, transistors, etc, which are available off the shelf are going to be of little interest.

Its only the unique Racal parts that are going to be worth dealing with. If you have thousands of items then its going to be quite a job sorting it all!
