Anyone recognise this connector?
I acquired a microprocessor trainer for the Intel 8080 a week or two ago (a picture of one like it is supplied below).
It came with a plug-in card that is clearly a serial interface for a terminal, plus a 2708 monitor EPROM. The supplied cable has a connector on the end which is presumably for a teletype/teleprinter/terminal but I've never seen one like it before. Can anyone shed any light on what it might have plugged into? |

Re: Anyone recognise this connector?
No idea what it would be connected to, but the connector looks like one from Radiospares: extract from the July-Oct 1980 RS catalogue attached. They will cost a lot more today!

RS still do them - the call them automotive connectors now - look under Cinch.
No idea what this one was used for though. |
