Default Sharp VZ2000. No reception.

Sharp VZ2000 - 1980 era
Radio is on all time. Was working on local station. Then dropped out and then there was whitenoise. Now Radio won’t tune at all, any station any channel I just get static. Please advise what the problem could be and the solution please.

Hello and welcome to the forums.

What is your skill level and what test equipment do you have?

Do the unit's other functions work correctly?

Service manual available here:-
