Default Bush VHF72 cabinet

I have a Bush vhf 72 with the wood cabinet. However it has a slight dent along the top edge, I wondered what may be the best way to deal with this. I have dismissed any wood filler since it will probably be worse if I tried this.
Any ideas?
Also, I dd not realise that this had a gold trim running around the top and bottom, I was wondering where I could get some of this.
I have some pics, but my hands are so shaky that you may not see much of any use, however you may see the piece of trim left.

The dint may lift if you can keep it damp just in that spot for long enough, Bluetac a water dam round it and feed it with a drop now and again.

The gold line is gold paint. You could mask it with fine lining tape and paint it or use a gold felt tip pen, or buy sticky auto gold lining tape.
