Well... Unless they've changed or are subject to fakery. I can only speak for the white-cased electrolytics manufactured in the 1990s and 2000s. These were badged up as EVOX-RIFA.

Rifa's bad reputation comes from the yellowish epoxy cased (paper?) capacitors that were popular in the 1960s (and for how long ...?). Both as coupling capacitors (leaky) and across the mains (explosive) they tended to be very much less than perfect. It's a reputable firm though so more modern components from them should be ok.

Except of course the very much unchanged product line of transparent epoxied paper capacitors that they still sell and that retains all original features from the 1960's... No need to present this product line as something from the past.

Their polypropylene foil capacitors are probably okay, but there are so many other brand to choose from that I don't see a reason to even bother with them, as I explain in another thread.
