Default Radio ID

I saw this yesterday in the waiting room at a Colne Valley Railway, I couldn’t read the badge on the front and hadn’t time to take another photo. I assume it’s just a prop and not a working model.

Anyone recognise it? I tried RM but my search criteria was probably poor.

French perhaps?

Can't make out the badge or the wavebands but as a guess, French.
Speaker fret looks continental, Pye used something similar but the other way up.

I couldn’t read the badge and I was there . There is a name on the badge that starts with RA but I couldn’t make any other letters out.

Certainly looks it could be French.

With my ID hat on I'd say a Radiola RA662 would be a good match.

Lawrence.

And I would say you are correct Lawrence.

I had my granddaughters with me and they couldn’t read the name plate, I had half a dozen different spellings from them. They probably weren’t interested, luckily one enjoyed the railway the other didn’t.

Thank you Lawrence, you seem to be able to spot the models.
