Angry Aurora Track & Confirm message - attempted delivery

I have had a message on the US Post Office Track & Confirm that an attempt was made to deliver my Aurora on the 6th. Of October at 7a.m. (I was probably still fast asleep.) No note or card was left to tell me a delivery attempt had been made.

But WHO is delivering it? Which carrier do I contact? I can't e-mail the US Post Office because the form requires a Zip Code and won't accept a post code.

Can anyone who knows who the carrier of these items has been suggest who I should contact.

I suppose I should just be patient and see what happens, but it's frustrating.

John,

Myself and others received our Aurora converters via Parcelforce. Prior to delivery though, you should expect to receive written notification from Parcelforce about duties to be paid. Once payment is made, the parcel is released for delivery.

If you have a US tracking number at your disposal, you could try visiting the Parcelforce web site and entering it in the tracking system there. I did this successfully in the recent past, whilst attempting to track down a parcel from the US.

Thumbs up Re: Aurora Track & Confirm message - attempted delivery

Brilliant, Ian. My Aurora is at Gloucester Parcelforce depot. Will give them a ring tomorrow.
Cheers, John.

Just in case anyone else has the same message from the USA Post Office Tracking Service, Parcelforce deny that any delivery attempt has been made to me yet, so the information on the USA tracking site is clearly wrong.

Not sure if that is entirely true - USPS job has been done when the parcel reaches UK Customs clearing centre, it then becomes the responsibility of Parcel Farce, as HMG wants their authorised agent dealing with the parcel in order to extort import duties/VAT....

Probably why you got the delivery attempt message - happens a lot when I import stuff

Cheers
Sean

OK, thanks for that, Sean. The USA message confused me but now I understand.
John.
