Default Signal R535. Clicking.

Hi, I have just bought one of these radios and when it is in search or scan mode it has a rapid audible click which is in time with the the scan speed.
I've heard YouTube videos of this radio and it is supposed to scan silently so I wondered if anyone has any ideas what might be wrong or how I might go about trying to fix it.

Thanks. Adam
