Default Test Item ID please

picked this up as part off a job lot sadly incomplete but looks pro as the front panel is a vinyl type decal
anyone seen the like before ?

The 'TDR' marking near the power switch suggests it might be a Time Domain Reflectometer.

Yes, looks like a telephone line tester including a Time Domain Reflectometer to find opens/shorts on the line

The 'Vel Fac' thumbwheels would be to set the Velocity Factor of the cable.

A simpler version of such a unit is the BT Tester 301B, for example
