We've already explained that this is the stylus pressure setting and is important in it's own right - but has nothing to do with the set down position. I don't think you are reading these well intentioned Posts sent to you as there is a lot of going over the same ground and much repetition here.
Just download the Manual which will be a handy reference for you for this and possibly other issues.

Hello. I think this pic might help explain things.
Also, you haven't said how far you stripped down the arm before having the problem. I'm wondering if the overload spring has become detached.
