Default BVWS Bulletin

Does anyone know if we'll be getting the Bulletin in time for Christmas this year?

At Wootton Bassett I was told it would be at the Museum (for envelope stuffing and posting) in a few days, but I don't have any updates on that.

With the December one there are more things to gather together before posting - the bulletin, renewal form, flyers for forthcoming events, and whatever calendar and/or DVD and/or other freebies. A delay with any one of those will delay the whole job.

Fingers crossed!

I never worry about when the Bulletin will arrive anymore.

I know it will arrive and that it will be worth the wait!

What more can you ask

Cheers

Hi All,

The BVWS Bulletins and Calendars were delivered to the Vintage Wireless Museum today!

The "perfect binding" of the spine takes a few extra days, hence we are a tad late.

All of the inserts and CDs+DVD are at the Museum and I expect to hear from them tomorrow to say that all UK addressed Bulletins have been sent.

So you should get everything in a few days.

Don't forget it is renewal time, so please fill in the forms (inside the envelope) and get them back on their way with payment to the Membership Sec. (Martyn Bennett) as soon as possible.

Harpenden 2013 is on 24th February, so we have to work very quickly to get everything back in time for the membership cards etc.

All the best,

Mike...

Hi Mike,

Am I right in assuming additional calendars will be available as in previous years?

Ah, the Christmas bulletin, lovely, who says Father Christmas don’t come early

Keep up the good work guys

Regards
Terry.

Hi All,

There will certainly be a limited number of spare Calendars available from me at the usual address in the Bulletin at a cost of £6.00 each (inc. UK postage).

All monies raised from Calendar sales will be donated to the British Vintage Wireless and Television Museum at Dulwich as before.

There are about 70 extra so get your orders in quickly. They went very quickly last year...

All the best,

Mike...

Hi Mike,

Please put my name on two of them. I’ll get a cheque for £12 in the post in the next few days.

Regards
Terry.

Hi Mike,

My Bulletin has also arrived safe and sound - thanks for another cracking Bulletin.

I like the picture in the calendar of the Ekco factory in Southend. The Ekco factory was just around the corner from me.

There is a cheque in the post for two more calendars.

Regards
Terry

Just got mine as well - unfortunately the envelope was open at the bottom, so I'm not sure if anything is missing. There is a dvd and the usual papers, but is there supposed to be a calendar?
Cheers

Probably worth contacting Mike and letting him know your calendar has gone AWOL.
